Mr Pie Man @ Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 3, TTDI

Price Range: Pie combo meals range from RM9.90 to RM 19.90
Cuisine: Pies
Pork-free

A quick chat with the Pie Man himself told us that the café’s existence is due to the fact that he can’t seem to find a good pie to sink his teeth in upon his return from New Zealand. We’re just glad to have a cosy pie shop so near to home!

Mr Pie Man’s baked goods were much-loved by hotels and airlines for many years, which eventually led to the physical outlet.

Pies here are served in 3 options: the standard size, a smaller 3-bites size, and the combo meal: a standard-sized pie accompanied by soup, side salad, and a drink.

We got a taste of the Curry Chicken Pie, which was reaaaally good! Loved the hint of heat that comes from the spices.

The 3-bites Lamb Pie (RM9) is yummy as well! Here's a comparison between 3-bites and standard.

For mains, we decided on the Chicken Mushroom Pie (RM11.90), which came with cauliflower soup, coleslaw, and an iced lemon tea. The soup is amazing, and the pie is as comforting as comfort food should be. Pour the gravy over for extra TLC. The pastry is rather thick, so we felt filled up pretty quickly.

For non-pie-fans who are dragged here by their pie-loving friends, there’s the decent option of Chicken Chop (RM16.90), which comes with the same sides as well.

The Pie Man is in the midst of experimenting with new flavours, and we’re sure to be back to try out their new bakes!
