Nothing's worse than meal time approaching and you're bombarded with the question, "What to eat?"
This time around, we let our pocket full of Worthy Book vouchers decide where to head to, and we ended up with a pleasant meal at Sushi Tei =)
One
of the most amazing things we’ve ever popped into our mouths is this Gyuniku Roll (RM13.80) – salty sweet thin beef
slices wrapped around stalks of enoki mushrooms.
As
basic as this is, somehow Egg Mayo Sushi
(RM3.40) just always ends up on our dinner table...
Chuka Iidako (RM8.80)
Nabeyaki Udon (RM17.80), served in a claypot bowl and
topped with prawn tempura, is the ultimate Japanese-style comfort food! We love the subtle flavours of the soup.
The
Maguro Spicy Aburi Carpaccio (RM15.80)
is pretty good, despite the fact that it is not spicy at all. But pan-seared
tuna? Irresistible, every time.
For
sushi, we opted for the Kirishima
(RM28.80) which has most of our faves: tuna, salmon, squid, octopus,
scallop, yellow-tail, prawn, eel, sweet beancurd, egg, tuna salad, and crab meat
maki. The 18-piece sushi set led us
to break the sushis up into pairs and playing a game of ‘would you rather...’
in order to determine who eats which one. Thankfully, no (serious) fights broke
out over these innocent little pieces of raw seafood on rice.
We
were handed the desserts menu and could not resist the compulsory fish-shaped
ice cream waffle, Taiyaki Ice Cream
(RM8.60). This is probably one of the best dessert creation the world has
ever seen!
We
got this super yummy Soft Shell Crab
