When stumped on a place for dinner, we’ve found ourselves heading to this quaint little bakery-cafe way too often. Have you tried the food here? Oh yes, then you’d know what we mean!  

Situated on the Lower Concourse floor of The Intermark (opposite Jaya Grocer), Bonjour Garden caters for both light snackers and full-on diners. Freshly-baked pastries tempt passers-by to make a pit stop, while the exciting full menu effortlessly calms the tummy’s hunger rumbles.

The All-Day Breakfast selections really hit the breakfast-food-cravings spot, from the Snail Wurst (RM 19) to the good ol’ Mr Benedict (RM16). Breakfast dishes come with a choice of soft toast, cereal crusty, whole meal crusty, or croissant.

 For starters, we tend to gravitate to the Creme de Broccoli (RM10) – we find the smooth and full-bodied broccoli soup absolutely divine!

Being a bakery, it’s no surprise their sandwiches here are a hit with regulars and newcomers alike. The Reuben (RM16) is a pure treat – fresh, whole meal toast sandwiching the perfect arrangement of beef pastramis, sauerkraut, and melting Swiss cheese.

Our top-most favourite thing to have here? The unbelievably delicious Oriental Pizza (RM25). We never knew smoked duck breast and golden lily mangoes go so perfectly well together, especially when drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

Pastas here exceptionally well-prepared! We love the Olio Prawn (RM22), the flavours that fly about in the garlic-and-chili base and the succulent prawns are phenomenal!

Up it a notch by opting for the ‘Slipper’ Lobster (RM28) pasta – the fettucine is tossed with prawn oil, cherry tomatoes, and Japanese chilli flakes, with the shellfish served atop the bed of pasta.

So for those who’s been asking us about awesome places for casual Western dining, we hope this little write-up gives a clearer idea on why we keep suggesting Bonjour Garden ;)
