Rest easy, Mrs Lovett did not have a
hand in crafting the pies at A Pie Thing. The only “Mashacre” here is of the
kind heaped with peas, potatoes and soulful gravy!
Pies here are available both in
savoury and sweet, with crowd-pleasing flavours available. They’ve got a cute
system for ordering the pies too:
Pie + Gravy (RM12.90)
Pie + Peas + Gravy (RM14.90)
Pie + Mash + Gravy (RM14.90).
Or why not go all the way with the
Masachre (RM16.90)?
Scanning through the mouth-watering
savoury selections, we zoomed in immediately onto the Creamy Spinach, which did
not disappoint! Creamy spinach topped with a
comforting dollop of smooth mashed potatoes, contrasted with a satisfyingly
chunky layer of mashed peas, and generously smothered with deliciously rich
gravy! This is, most definitely, our jam!
The Chunky Steak is worth a try too!
Tender and flavourful beef slices steeped in its smoky stock, best had the
Mashacre way!
Since we’d been missing our gym
nights, we managed to exhibit some semblance of self-control and skipped their
tempting desserts. We’ll be saving their sweet treats for our return soon!
