Had
one too many Eggs Benedict for brunch already? Change up the mid-morning meal
plans with the best of Creole cooking!
After salivating over Tiana’s famous gumbo in Princess and The Frog, our curiosity was finally answered with BRYCG’s Seafood Gumbo (RM 29.68). Oh how we love comfort food! We relished every spoonful of the seafood-stocked stew, served prawns, crabs, and a scoop of rice.
The Cuban Sandwich (RM25.44) is stacked with chicken, “chorizo”,
and cheddar cheese, flavoured with some chipotle mayo and Dijon mustard. Sides
include some positively addictive tapioca chips and a salad.
Our
favourite dish of the night went to the Shrimp
Jambalaya (RM33.92); the rich shrimp flavour is beautifully complemented
with okra, peppers, and spring onion in every bite!
We’ll
definitely be back for them fluffy, powdery beignets the next time around!
