Daily Shots Cafe @ Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad 1, TTDI

Update: This cafe is no longer in operation =(

Price Range: Reasonable! Coffee drinks range from RM6 – RM9.50
Cuisine: Coffee and cakes
Pork-free

This little cafe quietly set up camp in the half-a-shoplot we used to buy PS1 games in, and it’s looking very likely that we’ll be just as fond as this cosy hideout as well.

Priced at RM8.50, the rich, smooth lattes here are one of the cheapest we’ve seen in the area! Just add RM0.50 for an iced version.

(Julie: Thought it was ironic that, despite my raging fear of cats, I was the only one was served with a cat on my latte)

We polished off the Nutty Cheesecake (RM11) in a heartbeat. The rich cheesy centre is sandwiched in between layers of coffee-soaked cake, if we tasted that right and caramelized nuts serve as the perfect topping.

There’s a plug point at every table here, so there’s no need to do that awkward find-the-power-source dance when your laptop battery starts to die on you.

Also, the cafe has the BEST playlist, and we happily relived our ‘zaman kegemilangan’ from the 2000s as we sat there that night, laughing over lattes and singing along to The Greatest View.

In the day, you’re better off just taking Uber.
At night, finding a spot around here is not too bad.
