Okay yes, we’re not due to post about cheat meals for another 4 days, but we just had the most exciting after-iftar treat and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys!

Behold, top-notch gelato, on a bed of warm Belgian waffles, on a cloud of happiness! Who could resist?

Evidently, not us.

The gelato geniuses behind Cielo Dolci give their decadent creations an imaginative spin at this Every Sundae outlet.

You can opt for their pre-selected sundaes or.... have a little fun creating one of your own!

Sorry about that annoying orb of light smack in the centre though =/

Choose a base, from the more traditional cup, to a handmade cone, to a giant cookie, to a stack of Belgian waffles!

Next up, choose your gelato flavour! Favourites here include the Hojicha (a particular type of Japanese green tea known for its roasty-toasty flavour), Deep Dark Chocolate, and Salted Caramel. 

You can also take a look at the flavours of the day available at the front window.

What’s a sundae without toppings, yes? Well, how about adding on a Cotton Cloud? Oh yeah! As if that’s not exciting enough, here are some other topping options: Caramel Popcorn, NY Cheesecake Cubes, and Matcha White Chocolate!

Need to sauce it all up? Take your pick from Butterscotch to Dark Chocolate Fudge to even Pandan Kaya!

We were quite pleased with our pick! We skipped the sauce for fear the dessert may end up way too sweet, and as it turns out, the luxuriant bitterness of the dark chocolate (which we LOVE!) goes amazingly well with the sugary sweet cotton candy. The warm waffles provided the perfect vehicle to scoop up the gelato-cotton candy concoction.

As pretty as the arrangement was, we knew our lack of grace would result in the gelato being splattered all over the table. Unfortunately, we were right.

For an on-the-go gelato fix, the cup or cone is a great option! We absolutely love their Salted Caramel gelato, and the cone provides an addictive crunch!
