Cuisine : Ice Cream
Recommended For : The novelty of ingesting freshly-scooped B&J's
Catphobia-Friendly? : Yes
We turned absolutely green with envy when we heard the beloved ice cream brand had opened their flagship store in this colourful Japanese city last year. It seems unreal that a year later we would be traipsing around the Omotesando streets and ending up on Ben & Jerry's welcoming doorstep.
Located in the high-end Omotesando Hills mall (which, to us, is reminiscent of Pavilion KL), Ben & Jerry's is constantly buzzing with desserts hunters, from families with young children, to giggly teenagers, to subdued salarymen to even a group of burly, tattooed bikers (it was definitely an interesting sight seeing them polishing off their cones of Cherry Garcia and Strawberry Cheesecake, but we dared not attempt any photo-taking of the giggles-inducing occasion)!
The flavour selections
A regular scoop will set you back JPY 530 (approx. RM16), but you can also opt for a small scoop (JPY 360 / approx. RM 11) or a large one for JPY 750 (RM 23).
Keeping our fingers crossed for announcements of a Ben & Jerry's store in KL in the near future, hopefully! =)
