We
have such a weakness for cosy, kitschy eateries and Decanter falls comfortably
in this category. The place itself is gorgeous, with sunlight pouring in
through their white entrance doors, their orange-accented furniture and their
mosaic-adorned feature wall.
Many
reviews of this place seem to recommend trying their Cheese Chicken Chop (RM19): a juicy piece of grilled chicken topped
with mozzarella, turkey ham and thousand island sauce, served with potato
wedges and French beans. Honestly, how do you say no to that? We would have to
agree with each person who recommended this dish: it’s unsurprisingly amazing!
We love how each part of the dish just go so well together! And we also love how
juicy the grilled chicken is, and how the potato wedges just soak up all that
juice! It’s absolutely insane =O
For a
relatively less guilty indulgence option, their Grilled Chicken Chop is the way to go. We went with garlic for the
choice of sauce, but they also have the standard mushroom sauce as well as
black pepper sauce. We think the awesomeness of their chicken chops just boils
down to the fact that they are juicy and tender. And the garlic sauce is great
as well!
We
actually like coming here for conversations over coffee, as their coffee
beverages are pretty reasonably-priced at an average of about RM5. Admittedly,
it’s not the best cup of coffee we’ve ever had, but for the price, it’s decent.
