This restaurant is actually a branch of the famous Victory Restaurant in Arab Street, Singapore. Famed for their murtabak, we decided to give their Murtabak Kambing (RM10) a go.

When it first arrived, it looked a little small (we ordered the medium size) but it was so filling that we actually struggled to finish it in the end. There’s quite a selection of murtabak you can choose from, according to your desired flavour and size (kambing, ayam, daging, sardine; extra small, small, medium, large, extra large, special extra large).

The dhall and curry that it’s served with are delicious too! Interestingly, the murtabak is also served with a small bowl of cut cucumbers doused in chilli sauce.

We love how crispy the crust is!

The briyani here got us swooning! They have quite a range of flavours too: ayam, kambing, daging, ikan and udang (this one is seasonal though). It’s very rare that we find a briyani place offering a seafood version of the dish! But we ended up trying out the Briyani Ayam (RM9). The rice is seriously AMAZING! The chicken is cooked a little bit like Ayam Masak Merah, but the gravy is thicker and tasted like the perfect blend of spices.

This is a great option for those of us who are not feeling all too rajin to cook on a lazy Sunday such as today. They are open from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. and it’s looking very likely that we’ll end up here for dinner tonight! =D

Parking:
The one thing we hate about coming here is how INSANELY hard it is to find parking during the day. We gave up coming here a couple of times because of this problem.  Not so hard to find parking at night though! =)
