If whiling away your day over some toast and tea is your idea of a perfect weekend morning, you are going to love Little Colllins! It’s a cafe and bakery and florist all in one! So, you can have a meal here, you can bring some freshly-baked bread home, and you can even get them to customise some baked goods and flowers as gifts!

What we love here:

Their All-Day Breakfast Selections
There’s nothing ‘little’ about the food selections on offer here at Little Collins. You can choose from French toasts, scrambled eggs and omelettes, to open toasts, and grilled sandwiches. Here are our tried-and-tested favourites:

Banana French Toast (RM5.90):
thick toast topped with mashed bananas, cinnamon and honey

Miami Toast (RM9.90):
Egg-fried toast served with turkey bacon slices, baked beans and salad.

You can also switch the turkey with beef bacon, sausages or pepperoni. The awesome thing about the Miami Toast is that the egg is fried IN the toast!

The mind is boggled but the tummy is happy.

Big Breakfast (RM14.50):
toast with beef bacon, scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, baked beans and salad.

What a delicious way to start the day!

Grilled Sandwich (RM14.50):
Smoked salmon, cream cheese and red onion with honey mustard mayo.

Julie: There are so many appetizing things to choose from, but I always end up going back to my salmon ways and ordering this sandwich. It’s so good, it’s insane!

Open toast (RM9.90):
Mushrooms and Cheese

Oh, how we love their Hot Chocolate!

Desserts, Desserts, Desserts!

Everything looks good in their desserts display that we don’t blame you if you hover around it indecisively for a little too long. We were too full from breakfast so we had the Australian Lamington (RM5) packed along with some cheese tarts (RM2 each). The desserts are quite cheap, we feel, and tastes awesome!

The Australian Lamington is a little bit like an ice cream cake version of Bounty. It’s creamy, chocolatey and coconuty! And the cute little cheese tarts are really good too!

The lollipop-looking things really caught our attention! We ended up packing up the cake pops (RM2.50 each) too. Although they look really cute, they are a little bit too rich though.

One for the road!

So, for those of you who are looking for a quaint, cosy cafe to spend your Sunday mornings, you know where to look now! ;)
