In keeping with our current hobby of scouring the best places for set lunches, we present to you: Opika! If you are a frequent OU visitor, no doubt you would have seen their colourful vege-fruits pillar wraps all around. If you haven’t actually tried it, having a taste of their set lunch may give you a clear idea of what you can expect from Opika.

Finding ourselves gravitating towards this place each time 1p.m. comes around, we do have to say that this is possibly our favourite set lunch thus far! For RM12.90 (which comes up to about RM13.70 after the 6% charge), you have a choice of Organic Multi Grain Rice, Tuna Sandwich or Penne Carbonara with Free-Range Chicken. All these yummy dishes come with bottomless Organic Tea!

The first thing that catches our attention is all the colours they incorporate into their dishes! The multi grain rice is a colourful concoction of organic brown rice, red rice and quinoa; sautéed with corn, carrots and free-range chicken; topped with cubes of cucumber and tomatoes; and served with a crunchy-fresh side salad. 

Of course, when eating healthy, sometimes taste can be quite a concern. Well, that really shouldn’t be a concern here because the food is phenomenal! They have the remarkable talent of turning something as basic as a tuna sandwich into a memorable meal, which not a lot of restaurants can do.

They used to have these really awesome Quintuple Noodles as part of their set lunch offerings as well, which are basically stir-fried sesame, beetroot, carrot, spirulina and charcoal infused organic noodles. 

All the gorgeous colours of the noodles and variety of flavours keep us having our fingers crossed that they will be back on their lunch menu!
