Too many times we have had to listen to awestruck stories of this wondrous creation, and too many times we kept telling ourselves we urgently needed to swing by Acme Bar & Coffee and see what the fuss is about! 

We are happy to report that our procrastination has finally come to a complete halt. The Sizzling Brownie with Oreo Ice Cream (RM 19) is, easily, one of the most genius offerings to grace the foodscapes of KL! 

A Colourful Night Out with StarHero at La Boca Latino Bar, Pavilion KL

Having been avoiding jam-packed KL if no compelling reason requires us to be there (and the award for most adventurous food bloggers goes to...), we braved the after-work jam last Wednesday and were handsomely rewarded with soulful South American dishes and highly entertaining new comrades!  It was, after all, the StarHero Ambassadors’ Meet & Greet cum La Boca Food Tasting Session =)

The Tea Republic Launches 9 Signature Tea Blends

The Tea Republic has recently launched nine exciting new tea flavours to join its current menu of more than 50 different types of tea blends and creations. Brewing fine cups of tea since late 2010, the tea lounge lies comfortably tucked in an almost-hidden corner on the second floor of Bangsar Shopping Centre. 

Our rainy morning was warmed up with a tea-tasting session to sample the latest additions of tea blends:

Tweet to eat? What a fascinating concept! 

We are stoked about the upcoming Nuffnang FoodFest (#NNFoodFest) happening this October, and can't wait to explore a concept very much new to us: social media currency! Yep, your smartphone is all you need at this wallets-not-required food celebration (might wanna bring along a powerbank though!).

The food fest will feature a huge array of delicacies, with around 50 food stalls to choose from, for the convenience of its attendees to savour local and international favourites all in one place. Besides tweeting and eating (tweating?), there will also be cooking competitions and food photography workshops to appeal to the fervent foodie.
