We
had a whole lot of bananas in the kitchen today and decided to try creating a
chocolate version of our favourite nicecream recipe!

Under Pressure Vege Soup Recipe
Here’s
what we like to do when work ends a little late, and time is not on our side
for the fanciest of dinner prep: we chuck whatever we can find in the fridge
into the pressure cooker, and hope for the best.

Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms Recipe
Our
version of throwing caution to the wind is grabbing the Portobellos for our weekly grocery cart instead of the basic button ones. Yes, we live life to the
fullest like that. Here’s what we made!

weather’s been extra warm lately, hasn’t it? Beat the heat with this cool little recipe!
The best part? You don't need a fully-stocked pantry either! All you need is one magical ingredient =)

colours and flavours that filled up our dining table. Yep, this is most
definitely our jam!

Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter Recipe
Making
peanut butter is honestly one of the most effortless things you could do in the
kitchen. Plus, it’s fresher and cheaper than them soulless, processed ones.
Plus, you can completely customize it to make your peanut butter dreams come
true (Add in chopped assorted nuts? Stir some chocolate chips in? Go completely
without sweeteners?)
Let’s
get started with this basic peanut butter recipe!

Roasted Cauliflower Fries Recipe
If
it weren’t for its distinctive shape, many people who have tried these roasted
cauliflowers wouldn’t have guessed that that’s exactly what they’re eating! Roasted
cauliflower is also a favourite in the clean-eating realm for being a healthier
alternative to French fries, due to its similar taste when roasted.

Vegan Eggplant Pumpkin Pie
Mention the word ‘vegan’ to us a few years back, and the only response we
could elicit would be a carnivorous roar. Somehow, along the way, we were lucky
enough to be gradually introduced to the wonderful plant-based world (in the
form of excellent lunches at Living Food, followed by visits to engaging vegan blogs and IGs) and
we realized just how delicious and interesting a meatless meal can be!

We
were invited to try this latest addition to the growing list of healthy
eateries in KL by the cafe’s gracious owner, Philip, and we are still reeling from
the experience. Yes, we’ve had our fair share of organic meals, but none comes
close to Living Food! When asked what makes the food at this cafe so organic,
Philip, ever ready with his interesting explanations, informed us, “We go beyond organic. It’s not just about how
the ingredients are grown, but more importantly, what ingredients are actually used.”
