Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms Recipe

Our version of throwing caution to the wind is grabbing the Portobellos for our weekly grocery cart instead of the basic button ones. Yes, we live life to the fullest like that. Here’s what we made!

[Guest Post] Vegetarian Eats at Ben's!

Eating out and eating healthy often do not equate to the same thing, and it can be quite a challenge trying to find that balance. Our blogger compadre Edith from Apples On Sticks understands our concerns and frustrations; here's an excerpt of her search for good vegetarian food in KL:

Price Range : Mid-range
Cuisine : Good burgers
Recommended For : Young diners in small groups (not a great place to dine at with impatient parents and screaming  young kids, but thankfully, there’s the tapau option)
Catphobia-Friendly? : Yes

The Daily Grind Gourmet Burgers @ Bangsar Village

Price Range : Mid-range
Cuisine : Western (Burgers, mostly)
Recommended For : A meaty craving
Catphobia-Friendly : Yes

Being a burger joint, The Daily Grind offers more than 15 types of burgers to choose from: whether you are craving for some good old beef patty, or prefer to sink your teeth in some lamb patties; there are even non-meat patties that still sound tempting! Below is a guide to our favourites, based on our moods:

(Bob: Remember the scene where Liz was having a meal with her Italian tutor? The one where she was absent-mindedly cutting a piece of food on her plate and this delicious-looking juice squirted out of it? Yeah, I think I pressed ‘rewind’ a little too many times during this scene...)

Lucky for us, d’italiané kitchen just hits that Italian spot. The food here is crazy good! Here are some of our favourites:
