Strawberry Chia Jam Recipe
Raw,
Vegan, Refined Sugar-Free, Soy-Free, Gluten-Free
Ingredients:
200g
strawberries
2
tablespoons chia seeds
1
tablespoon sweetener of choice (we’re using organic maple syrup)
2. Place
the strawberries in a food processor. Drizzle in the organic maple syrup and
start pulsing. How long you pulse depends on whether you’re a chunky strawberry
bits or a smooth strawberry puree kinda person.
3. Stir
in the chia seeds.
4. Transfer
to a jar and keep in the fridge overnight (or at least 6 hours).
There
are way too many things you can do with a jar of raw strawberry chia jam
sitting in your fridge, from topping wholemeal toasts, to dressing up overnight
oats, to lending a sweet-and-sour flavour to a morning smoothie!

*Strawberries
are known to contain high levels of pesticide. Go organic or, if you have
access to a Kangen machine, soak the strawberries with high alkaline water (pH
11.5) to minimise pesticide residue.
