We’re
not usually fans of mock meat, but we gotta hand it to Beyond Veggie... their vegetarian
spread totally exceeded our expectations!
We
never knew Beyond Veggie offers set meals for more than 1 person, and we’re
super happy to have discovered this coupon on KindMeal!

tweeting about the coupon, we were treated to 30% off the normal set price,
which brought the set to a total of RM66.30 instead!
The set, which is great
for sharing between 3 to 4 persons, includes:
Appetizer (which you can
choose from their menu)
We
went for the Veggie Rolls and
absolutely loved it! Fluffy tortillas stuffed with fresh vegetables, sprinkled
with floss over the top. The best part? The honey mustard dip (as well as the
sesame one!) that they come with!
Mixed Vegetable Curry
This
hearty bowlful comes packed with delicious assorted beancurd, eggplant, long
beans, and cabbage. It’s got a nice, light taste too!
Stir-Fried Lion’s Mane
Mushroom
This
was one of our favourite dishes in the set! The sauce tastes almost like that
sauce that comes with butter chicken. It’s rich and creamy, and the curry
leaves offset it very nicely. The mushrooms are unbelievably juicy and
addictive!
Revitalizing Tofu
When
in need of something soothing, we’ll probably be dreaming about this dish from
now on. The tofu itself is incredibly delicious and the generous use of ginger
really brings a warm, earthy feel to the dish. We loved the addition of goji
berries as well!
Fruit Tea (with a choice of
Original, Passion Fruit, or Lemongrass)
Oh
this was surprisingly good! We went with the original, which was a nice,
refreshing mix of tea with apple, lemon, and pineapple!
The only downside to the set was that it came with white rice. We opted to switch to brown rice which, unfortunately, was not available.
On
another note, we’re seriously getting addicted to KindMeal coupons! So far, it’s
the most user-friendly way for us to find cool meat-free meals to try. We like
that we don’t have to pay a single thing when getting a coupon from their
website or app, and we can even use the coupon everyday if we wanted to (up
until the coupon expiry date)!
